Victoria Cattoni explores the role of the 'kebaya', a traditional blouse worn by Peranakan women, in the cultural and individual identity formation and change in this modern era. The 30-minute video of her investigations on fashion, cultural identity and the Nyonya's kebaya will be screened throughout the day from July 19-21. The visual artist and independent researcher hails from Australia and she currently resides in Singapore.
