These artisans have spent half their lives, and some even their entire lives, toiling away in old houses. These houses witnessed every sweat shed and every painstaking effort made.

As these traditional artisans fade with time, whether from moving away or passing on, these old houses become nothing but empty shells.

Sculptures hold powerful potential for storytelling and connection, freezing moments in time with intricate craftsmanship. This group exhibition showcases mixed media sculptures, depicting artisans in George Town working on their crafts. From rattan and cane weaving to songkok making, viewers are invited to reminisce about the lives of these master artisans.
