Description
Board games are experiential art. Interactions players share with the game and with each other create a unique shared experience, blending strategy, competition and community.
The Malaysian edition of the Asian Board Games Festival (ABGF MY) is proudly organised by LUMA and Origame, in partnership with George Town Festival. With over 50 tabletop games spread across two floors in 1st Avenue Mall, visitors can try out games designed and published by Malaysian and Singaporean creators.
In addition to free-to-play board games, Play Passports sold at RM10 each will offer visitors access to:
1) Hourly Lucky Dips
2) RM10 off any LUMA game after playing and getting stamps of 3 spotlighted games
3) Win games contributed by exhibitors if you’re the first 20 to play and get stamps of 30 spotlighted games (each game will take roughly 10-30 minutes to play depending on complexity).
It’s time to roll the dice, and play your way through Asia.
ABGF MY 2024 is made possible with venue sponsorship from 1st Avenue Mall and support from Kohii Boardgame Cafe, TTGDMY – Tabletop Game Designers of Malaysia, TLM EVENT, and Rakan Reka BGD Malaysia, Arts-ED, and Tropical Spice Garden.
