Description
From Somewhere Inside will search for traces of living that are shown through people, their belongings, their environment and their everyday lives. By entering dwellings and areas where local communities live, the artist observes, chats and exchanges thoughts and feelings with the people that inhabit George Town’s historical spaces. In this participatory project, she collects items from locals, items brimming with memories and untold stories. Turning these conversations and objects into content for the creative process, the resulting artwork captures moments in the lives of individuals, allowing the viewer to see their space through the eyes of an outsider.
