Description
The arts are not just imaginative tools for sparking social movements and adapting to our ever-changing world, they can offer a soothing balm in stressful times.
rehat, which is Malay for ‘rest’, is a room for respite from the festivities, away from overstimulating noises and the endless rush of excitement. Embedded with gentle nooks for rest and artworks one can interact with, the space will bring forth moments of much-needed calm as one weaves through the therapeutic tapestry.
This is an exercise in presenting artworks beyond the conventional white cube, in an environment that centres the visitor’s physical and mental comfort.
Step into the calming embrace of rehat and relax, offer yourself a moment to take a breather.
