After Dusk invites you to experience George Town in a new light—literally. As the sun sets, the city comes alive with immersive art, music, and performance that transform familiar spaces into dreamlike landscapes. Held as the opening of George Town Festival 2025, this evening programme celebrates creativity that awakens after dark.

At the heart of After Dusk is “TERANG”—meaning “bright” in Malay—an awe-inspiring projection mapping by Filamen that will transform Town Hall into powerful visual stories, bridging past and present through light.

Alongside “TERANG”, a series of live performances animate the night. At Municipal Fountain Park, “Starry Night” by Diabolution dazzles with a poetic diabolo act set against the night sky, while “Transmute: Dengung Dalam Sepi” offers a hauntingly introspective dance-music performance exploring the layers of silence. Meanwhile, the Esplanade hosts “A Market Under a Starry Night”, a creative bazaar of handmade goods, food, and vintage curiosities.
