Stripes and Strokes is a set of portraits of Malaysians posing with the Malaysian flag from photographer Mooreyameen Mohamad. Originally exhibited as '60x60', the photographs were shot and exhibited in 2017 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Malaysian Independence – the 60th Merdeka.
GTF will exhibit 20 specially selected portraits from the full collection, showing the diverse faces of Malaysia, in age and race, against the flag that unites them.
Mooreyameen Mohamad will also be conducting 2 weekends of portraiture photography free for members of the public:

Learn the art of capturing portraits with a hands-on crash course. Mooreyameen Mohamad, whose day job is Chief of Staff for conglomerate the Petra Group, also introduces himself as a portrait photographer with his collection 60 x 60 (presented at GTF as Stripes and Strokes), exhibited to warm reception.
